Pepper is my home bred girl from my German girl Inka (Sensation vom Tespelkooi of Valleyrise) from a male imported from Estonia called Okto (Chriskooi’s Octavius at Genetika). Pepper is full of fun, she is always playing and is possibly the cleverest dog I have ever owned. She is constantly learning new things, and very easily achieved her Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Trick Titles. Unfortunately the pandemic hit Pepper’s early show career hard, but once the shows restarted she has done extremely well, and wow has she reached her to show her full potential!

Pepper was crowned Kooiker of the Year in the club’s annual 2023 and 2024 competition, and I was exceptionally proud to see her shortlisted in the main group at Three Counties Championship Show! I am completely blown away that after her mother Inka won the very first bitch CC on offer for the breed, Pepper only went and won the other 2 available in 2024 from highly respected Kooiker judges. Honestly 2024 could not have gone better!

2024 could not have gone better, but 2025 did! At Crufts Pepper was awarded the next CC, her third and crowning CC that makes her the first ever UK Kooikerhondje Champion!!! Words cannot express how proud I am of my home bred girl.
