My name is Claire, I live on the south coast of England and I am the proud owner of Valleyrise Kooikerhondjes. I have loved and owned Kooikers since 1986 when my Grandparents reintroduced the breed back onto the UK after a several hundred year absence.
I am the breed health co-ordinator and President for the Kooikerhondje Club of Great Britain, served on the committee for over 15 years now, and own a business in dog training and behaviour. As you can imagine, the health and temperament of the breed is exceptionally important to me.
My dogs are first and foremost pets, when we aren’t hiking round the countryside or exploring the New Forest we attend confirmation shows throughout the UK.
I currently live with three Kooikerhondjes, sensible Inka, clever Pepper and fun loving Toffee who keep me constantly busy and entertained!
